Rod is a qualified accountant with over 30 years’ of experience in the mining industry working in the finance, commercial, asset management, operational and support functions . Prior to joining Ravenswood Gold, Rod held roles as Chief Financial Officer at Red River Resources Ltd, General Manager Finance and Corporate Service at Moreton Resources Ltd, General Manager Commercial and Technical Services at Sydvaranger Gruve As, Commercial Director at PT Nusa Halmahera Minerals, Group Operations Manager at Newcrest Mining and General Manager Operational Excellence at MMG Ltd.
Rod holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree from UCQ, is a member of the Australian Society of CPA’s and has completed a Graduate Diploma, Applied Corporate Governance with the Governance Institute of Australia.
