Dan's story 


Dan is one of our Haulage Operators and in May 2023 he and his wife welcomed a new baby into their family. Having a gender neutral Paid Parental Leave Policy meant that Dan could access 77 days, or 540 hours, of paid leave. Dan said that this meant a great deal to him and his wife. “Being supported by Ravenswood Gold in allowing my application for primary carer to be approved meant I could support [my wife] by doing all the night feeds and most of the running around so she could focus on her recovery, not only from surgery, but mentally, and being paid a wage from Ravenswood Gold meant we didn’t have the added stress of depleting our savings account with the amount of time off I would require was a huge relief.”

The recruitment process 

The journey for a successful candidate will involve the following steps;

  1. Apply for role through online application (with Resume and Cover Letter)

  2. Interview (On-site roles will include site visit)

  3. Pre-employment checks (Medicals, References, Police Check, Certificates review)

  4. Offer of employment.
